Christina bought her first camera at the age of 14, and taught herself how to use it in the old towns of her native Germany. Her creative inspiration lead her to study art and design in college and to receive a BA in Studio Arts from Western Washington University. Afterwards she worked for 16 years in the photo editing, graphic design, and marketing fields and became an expert in Photoshop for digital image retouching. After meeting and apprenticing with well-known photographic artist Joyce Wilson, she now specializes in photographing people and places.

Christina loves making pictures and has a passion for composition and creating imagery that evokes emotion. "Working with people is very special. I like to convey a sense of each person's unique essence in my work."
